This fast track project encompassed the design and construction of a long stay car park near the St James Interchange of the M8 motorway, approximately one mile west of Glasgow Airport.
The car park required a substantial volume of imported material. Maximum possible use was made of local sources of recycled concrete and demolition materials to form the first layer of construction. In addition to drainage and roadworks, our scope of works also included lighting, CCTV, new services and around 800metres of security fencing.
Through close integration with the Client’s team and our designer Dougall Baillie, the project successfully achieved completion before the busy Christmas holiday period.
