Civil Engineering - Introduction
We have over 40 years of experience in the successful delivery of projects in the fields of bulk earthworks, infrastructure, land reclamation and landfill engineering. In our normal role as Main Contractor, we particularly welcome opportunities where we can offer efficiency and cost benefits by employing our large fleet of wholly owned, modern plant.
We have extensive experience of standard and bespoke conditions of contract and routinely price work on a remeasurable basis, as a lump sum, target cost or guaranteed maximum price. We enjoy working closely and co-operatively with our clients and their design teams and delivering cost effective solutions with the minimum of fuss.
We are comfortable and experienced in the design and construct route and in contributing through Early Contractor Involvement.
The company operates the full range of systems and procedures that would be expected of a modern contracting organisation.
Our quality and environmental management systems are formally registered under ISO 9001 and 14001 respectively and we are working towards OHSAS 18001 for our safety management. We are registered on several of the standard industry databases, including UVDB, Verify and Constructionline. We operate a flat and responsive management structure, with short lines of communication between our sites and the directors of the company. We also recognise the importance of maintaining good control of site operations and we provide full-time experienced and qualified site supervision for all of our projects, regardless of the size or value. We are a dynamic organisation, firmly committed to continuous development in all of our activities. We have a highly experienced and well-established team, with a reputation for a friendly, professional approach.
