Farming and Estates

Farming
The catalyst for the development of the company’s farming interests was the move by Ian and Hardie Brown in 1955 from Carnock Mill Farm in Fife to Innergask Farm in Perthshire. In the subsequent half century, that initial 90 acres has grown to around 6,800 acres stretching from Perthshire through Fife to East Lothian.
Our main crops grown are winter wheat and spring barley to supply the Scottish malting and distilling industries.

We also own estates at Moness, Aberfeldy, Corrielair in Glenmorriston and Kingie in Glengarry.

Kingie Estate is situated in magnificent west coast scenery and extends to over 15,000 acres on the south side of Loch Quoich. Kingie Lodge, available to let, provides very comfortable accommodation for up to 14 people and enjoys wonderful views over the glen and hills beyond.
