Crieff Road/Tulloch Road, Perth

image This interesting project was for the preparation of a challenging site for new housing.
The site occupies a triangular parcel of land between Crieff and Tulloch Roads in Perth, with a level difference in excess of 10 metres between the upper and lower sections of the area. The purpose of the project was to create a developable area at the lower level, by carrying out bulk earthworks in conjunction with the installation of a new soil nailed wall to retain and stabilize the embankment between the levels.
image The project also involved the removal of an area of Japanese Knotweed.
Close co-operation was required with the operators of the plant yard that occupied the whole of the upper level of the site
